2014 Trek Verve 3 WSD - Women's

Trek's Verve 3 WSD is a super-plush ride no matter where you choose to roam thanks to an easy-pedaling aluminum frame and a suspension fork to smooth any road or path. Sublime comfort comes in the form of a relaxed upright riding position with an adjustable stem and wide handlebars. And pedaling is a cinch, the 24 gears mean easy climbing. Plus, you'll love the cushy Bontrager seat and suspension seatpost that makes the bumps disappear. If you forgot how much fun riding was, one ride on the Verve, and you'll never forget.

Love my new bike - so glad I decided to donate my old one. This is nice looking, comfortable, versatile as great on a dirt trail or riding into town. Rode nearly every day sine purchase. Very pleased and worth the money.

My Husband and I Love our Trek Verve 3's . We haven't been on a bike for 37 years, so at 57 years of age we wanted to stay fit. We are now having the time of our lives and will never look back. we also started planning our vacations around the bikes. We won't leave home without them.

          Comments:

I use my bike everyday as my car! I have a 2 yr old that I put in her trailer and off we go! This is my first "real" bike, and is quite an investment even though I got it for Mothers Day. The second I rode it to work I knew the difference. I love riding my bike now, before it was a chore. Thanks!

I specifically upgraded to this bike because I was told the handle bars and grips would be good for the arthritis in my hands. And they were right. Rode for over 2 hours last Sunday and no pain. Love this bike

              Comments:

I am a 61 year old woman interested in keeping up with 2 younger generations of my bicycle-riding family. My Trek Verve Hybrid 3 x 8 gives me "Granny Gears" (ugh... who thought of that name?!) to allow smooth and easy riding in the foothills where I live. They are the "equalizers" allowing me to keep up and keep having fun! Loved the buying experience at the Bicycle Emporium in Auburn CA. Travis, Fred, and Josh have been terrific... tending to newer cyclists as well as avid athletes. Thanks Trek for making such a comfortable (love the saddle and fork suspension) bike!!

I love my new Trek. It's easy, comfy, and rides like a dream. I'm 62 and got back on a bike after 25 years. It has the proper weight and gears for me at my age and for recreational biking. And did I mention how pretty it is :)

                Comments:

After hurting my back I found I needed a more upright comfort bike for commuting to work. I tested out several brands and models and was most impressed with the Verve 3 WSD. Unfortunately they didn't have my size in stock and only had the white color, so when the sales associate asked if I wanted it in grey I said yes. When I picked it up the next week I was really disappointed that it was decorated with bright yellow flowers. I was so excited to get my bike, and having to travel 30 minutes out of town to the store, I convinced myself that maybe the design would grow on me. But no. I'm actually kind of offended that Trek would assume women want flowers on their bikes; they certainly don't decorate men's bikes with bacon or mustaches to make it more "manly." In all, it is a great, comfortable bike with quality components, but I regret buying a bike that has to remind me and everyone else around me that this is a girls-only bike.

                About Me

                Comments:

It was time for me to switch from a road bike to a more comfortable women's bike. I have tried several other bikes before choosing the TREK Verve. The grips as well as the comfort sold me. I purchased a water bottle holder (velcro mounted) and was trying to decide where to place it especially since I kicked it everytime I got on the bike. My husband mounted it on the handbar stem. It fit perfect and is not in the way. In fact, I have easy access to it when riding.
